My 2014 I purchased new for $17,300 (little hail damage) has 132,000 miles. Only issue was I had to replace the throttle body at 60k miles. Not a lot of power as everyone notes, but it has enough. Simple plain style which I like. It has been a good vehicle for me so far. For all the negative comments about Patriot's that are out there you sure see a lot of them on the road.

Nice job on the video! Wondering if you have ever considered replacing your throttle body? I own a 2012 and have had issues with mine. Had it replaced because of poor performance and lagging at 2000 RPMs when driving it.

Do you have a video on how to replace the bake burner tube? I used this video to replace the igniter last year and it was great, but a year later the oven isn’t working again. Figured the bake burner was letting too much gas out so trying to replace both now.

Concerning the seal I am talking about the round piece on the back of the headlight that must be taken off to get to the bulbs. And what part of the headlight were you pushing on to get the backside of the headlight to pull out of the plug grommet ?

What is the torque for each bolt ?

Also did you check to see if the o ring or rubber seal is in good shape to keep moisture out ? I have not got my headlight out as I am unsure where to push against the back of the headlight to get it to release from the grommet. Waiting for your reply Thank you much

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Quad cab with Quad headlights and I do have a Question for you,i have the top bolt taken out and the bottom bolt feels like it is backed out all it is going to back out but it did not come out when I pulled the socket out and I have pushed the headlight retainer up through the fenderwell door.but I cant get the headlight to come out. so Would you tell me where were you resting your hand when you pushed the back or the headlight through the fenderwell door ? Thank You much

No its not the cvt saving your brakes 🤦‍♂️ Your rear brakes dont get used like your front brakes The front brakes do all the work and your rears just assist with slowing the car down

My 02 does this,dodge put a drip tray right under the oil filter! Why? They must have known there's an issue with this ! A dirty plugged oil filter would increase back pressure and force oil out of the seals...! maybe!! Yours is a newer ram,so this is an ongoing issue with the dodge ram obviously! Also,our products "made in China" crappy aftermarket filters with low grade rubber seals could also contribute to this problem! So,it's not your fault! Also,they want you to put white grease on the black rubber seal! Use an oil filter wrench!😮

If you haven’t gotten a superchips or similar computer to shut off the MDS system in your 5.7, I highly recommend it. You don’t save much in fuel efficiency with it, and it starves half of your engine of lubricant. It’s the reason so many police cars are trashed from high idle times and lots of low speed driving (in the 5.7 chargers). I changed my Durango to full time v8 and it has performed better ever since.

Just finished this hell. My arms look like the family cat and a rose bush had a tug-of-war. Tightening the housing clockwise on the driver’s side was the worst. I recommend trying to get two hands in there if you can. Next time I’m taking it to the shop. Never buying a jeep or any car with plastic rivets again. Thanks for the video.

Good video. thanks, btw...@8:25 what's that third assembly, also white plastic, to the right of the blue and white flush tower to which the white plastic filler hose is attached.? I called American Standard and they say their manual ONLY shows the fill valve on the left, and the flush tower with the blue and white buttons but nothing else
